Electus Healthcare are currently looking for a Registered Manager to join a superb, nursing home. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and has experience managing a nursing home.
This a brilliant permanent opportunity offering Monday-Friday, 9-5 hours and paying a competitive salary plus a range of bonus’ and company benefits.
The Home Manager, will lead and manage all aspects of care within the Home and develop the service further, by driving continuous improvements. Further assist in the overall objective of the Home in creating and maintaining a caring environment where clients and their families feel secure and happy and where the respect and dignity of the client is maintained. whilst maintaining our organisational values.

Duties of a Registered Manager include:
• Ensure the delivery of quality, person-centred care
• Manage budgets and the financial effectiveness of the setting
• Recruit, train and supervise staff
• Implement and manage standards of patient care
• To be responsible and accountable for efficient and effective leadership to all care staff
• Ensuring RQIA compliance
• Ensuring all aspects of the nursing home environment facilitate exceptional care in line with registered bodies and infection control
• Ensure the safe management of medication in accordance with company policies and current legislation
The successful candidate will preferably have experience managing a Care home, however, candidates who have limited managerial experience and can demonstrate enthusiasm and desire to develop their career may be considered.

Key duties will include:
• Provide full administrative support to the home and home manager including Residents Personal Allowance Management, diary management, minute taking, photocopying, filing and maintaining records
• Provide excellent customer service over the phone, face to face & in writing to customers, professionals, colleagues and family members
• Maintain resident records and archiving in line with GDPR and policy • Ensure invoices are sent to head office in a timely manner
• Supporting the HR department, with operational activities
